I was born and raised in southeastern Idaho. I earned a B.S. degree in Biochemistry and minor in business management from Brigham Young University. At BYU I met and married my wife, who is from southern Arizona. We moved to Columbus, Ohio where we welcomed three children into our family while I completed dental school and then Ohio State’s well-respected Advanced Endodontics Program to gain the additional specialized training needed to become an endodontist. The program included training using today’s most advanced techniques and technology. In addition, I completed a Master’s degree and successfully defended a thesis focused on pain control during root canal treatment. This research was subsequently published in the Journal of Endodontics, the leading scientific journal in the field of Endodontics
In 2010 we moved back west to Arizona and I began full-time clinical practice. We now have five children and enjoy raising them here in Arizona.
